Gun & Blood1.41
An Adrenaline Pumping Shooting Game
Shooting games are great for people who want to have an adrenaline packed adventure whenever they play a game. The virtual stakes are usually the highest in shooting games as the gameplay usually revolves around the idea of kill or get killed. Many games look to provide an engaging storyline in order to provide better entertainment. However, if a game offers good graphics, realistic physics and action-packed gameplay, many will not complain even if there is no real storyline. Gun & Blood is a shooting game developed by FT Games that offers an adrenaline-filled ride throughout. We look at the gameplay and the graphics to see if the game is as engaging as it promises to be.
The first thing that surprises the most about Gun & Blood is its meagre app size. The app is 10MB in size and this is extremely small for a shooting game. There is no additional downloading done by the game after installation and this ensures that people who do not have much space on their phones can also download and install the game without any worries.
The shooting game starts without any real tutorial and believes in the process of throwing you in the deep end and making you learn on the go. The initial few rounds in the game have been kept deliberately simple and easy for this purpose though and this helps. While a tutorial would be ideal, the app provides hints during the gameplay in the starting rounds to guide you in taking aim and in shooting the right people.
The shooting game itself has a lot of gaming environments and missions. There are a total of five gaming environments namely Harbor, Chemical Plant, Arsenal, Terrorist Base and Endless. Each gaming environment has multiple attack waves with each wave usually consisting of a few enemies that show up. After you have killed the enemies of a particular wave, your progress is saved and you earn in-game currency that can be used to buy better weapons and armory. Each gaming environment comes with its own objective that can be read to provide context if required. There is a Gun Shop present as well, through which you can buy a variety of weapons and equip them as needed in order to wage your battle against the enemies. You can also upgrade your weapon's accuracy, damage and reload speed. Moreover, you can also add further add-ons like a scope and barrel too.
The gameplay of Gun & Blood is where it actually shines. You are not required to move at all and can sit in one position and take aim at the enemies. There are multiple control options available. You can either choose a target mode whereby you can use the scope to focus on the enemies better and then use the fire button to shoot at the enemies or you can choose an automatic mode where the gun would start firing on its own as soon as you would point it at an enemy. The target mode is better if you are touchy about accuracy while the automatic mode is better if your only purpose is to kill as many enemies as possible. The graphics in the game are solid with the screen getting bloodier as you are hit. You can use the health pack in order to regain your strength while you would also need to buy bullets if you run out of them during one wave of attack. Lastly, if you get overwhelmed, you can also call an air strike to eliminate your enemies.
